On Thursday 6th graders had an amazing trip to see the Whitney biennial. We were going to go to the park after the visit and write poetry bass on what we saw, but due to predicted thunderstorms (that never came) we had to cut that portion of the trip. We still got to see and discuss some wonderful work from hopper's early Sunday morning to the large scale camera obscura in the biennial. As usual students shared amazing insight and opinions on the work. They compared work to things we have studied in class and were able to critique work in a smart and cohesive way. I'm super proud!
