Check out this amazing parking lot I saw in Miami over spring break. All the parking meters were painted bright bold colors and designs. I thought that was cool and took a picture. Then I saw a sign that said that the parking lot was free to park in but if you wanted to pay, it was a donation to a local organization who helps the homeless. What a cool creative way to decorate an often bland space and give back!
Thank you Tori in 701 for bringing in your birthday present for us to see! The 3d pen was so cool! I wish we could get our 3d printer to work! :) Happy birthday! For an upcoming super secret project that combines recycling and large scale installations, my Tuesday after school art class needs used (but still clean) plastic bags.
We all have them in piles and bags under our sink, so why not do some spring cleaning and bring them into school! Please put them in the bin on the 1st floor in front of the calendar. All shapes, sizes and colors are needed, just make sure they are clean! Thank you! We use pencils everyday in school, especially in art class. March 30th was a Sunday this year but next year we are going to have to plan a celebratory Nation Pencil Day Event! Check out the video from CBS's Sunday Morning show below. |
